Single Review | Nick Jonas - Levels

Nick Jonas
Levels - Single
Island / Safehouse
Release date: August 21, 2015

By Shawal Ras

This young Justin Timberlake teases us with a groovy new track, a hint of what he’ll release in the coming fall music season.

‘Levels’, Nick Jonas’ first cut off his forthcoming solo album, premiered yesterday via Z100 and it is as sexy as fuck.

A mold of funky bassline and Jonas’ raspy and falsetto vocal dominate ‘Levels’ and given the usual dynamics (well-accepted former LP + hot public image + fantastic new bop), this song should dominate the radio in the next few months.

The only thing this song needs right now is a sexier music video to match the track.

Rating: 4 out of 5 stars.
