Anti Social Media
The Way - EP

Last week, Anti Social Media represented Denmark at the Eurovision Song Contest's first semi final but did not received enough votes to grant them into the grand final (which is TONIGHT!). I know, I know, it sucks 'cos their song, 'The Way You Are', is so good, and pretty much a very happy song amidst the sea of ballads in this year's competition.

Anyway, earlier this month, the group released their first EP, The Way, and it is so awesome it might warrant a place in your heart as soon as you sat down and start listening to it.

Anti Social Media is a group made of four Danish cuties; Philip Thornhill, Nikolaj Tøth, David Vang, and Emil Vissing, and I think all of them are nineteens... or somewhere near that.

This extended play, serves as their first major release, is an introduction to this quartet's musical identity. Based upon my first few listens, I think they're in between McFly and the Vamps, and this is not a bad thing. I really (really) love it.

In my opinion, their songs are catchy pop rocks with a hint of that spunk all teenage boys and girls go crazy at. It's terrific!

Some of my favs are 'More Than a Friend', 'Whoopsie Daisy', 'Until You Came', and that Eurovision track, 'The Way You Are'. The other two are also cool, but mediocre in terms of catchiness.

Hmm, I'm not sure if it's available in your iTunes store, but you can definitely listen to it via Spotify (for free!). My advice: just enjoy it and it'll make your bad times go away!

Rating: 4.5 out of 5 stars.
