Taylor Swift's star-studded music video has finally arrived yesterday and I, sadly, am not a fan of it.

The high-budget video, which features her many many many friends, kicked off yesterday's Billboard Music Awards and to be honest, she can thank her many stars for being thrilling than the actual visuals.

For me, after so many faux movie posters, I expected something around ten minutes long and really crazy. But this one is pretty tame. Each stars (+ Cindy Crawford - OH!) only received something like two seconds liddat.

Oh, don't you think  the video is a nod for Britney Spears' iconic femme video: 'Toxic' (both by the same director, Joseph Kahn). It is, right?

Anyway, the coolest thing about the video is a couple of verses added by rapper du jour, Kendrick Lamar. I really love this addition. Making it a bit edgier than the actual pop song.

What do YOU think of this? Sound off in the comment below!

Rating: 3 out of 5 stars.

  1. I love the video! There's clear reference to Britney's Toxic, especially with the same red hairstyle and make-up in the end... but I hate the remix, Kendrick was so unnecessary... weren't they going for only female theme and then they add Kendrick... and out of all amazing rappers Kendrick... blah, it would be better if it was Rihanna who did the rapping part, imagine that! :)))
