Single Review | Lana Del Rey - Ultraviolence

Lana Del Rey
Ultraviolence - Single
Polydor
Release date: June 4, 2014

I've already heard two full tracks from Lana Del Rey’s upcoming Ultraviolence: 'West Coast' and 'Shades Of Cool'. Now, Lana has given us the studio version of the title track, 'Ultraviolence'.

The smooth slow track is currently sits at the No. 2 position on her new album's tracklist and was written by Lana Del Rey herself with the help of Daniel Heath.

'Ultraviolence' is about her fantasy on being blessed with beauty and rage. Pretty much about hardcore love, I think.

But one thing for sure, this is indeed Lana's return to her airy and orchestra-heavy roots we came to love in her previous record, Born to Die.

Check out the new track below. Ultraviolence is out June 16.

Rating: 3 out of 5 stars.
