Music Video Review | MAGIC! - Rude

MAGIC!
Rude - Single
Latium / RCA / Sony Music
Release date: October 12, 2013 (Single) / December 5, 2013 (Music Video)

Slowly making its way to the top of countless music chart, I'm finally smitten with MAGIC's debut single, 'Rude'.

Off their debut studio LP, Don't Kill the Magic, this raggae-esque fusion single by the Canadian band is still doing well in many international charts despite being a year old already.

You might recognised Nasri, the lead singer, who is the one-half of the Messengers, a group of composers who crafted hits for Iggy Azalea, Justin Bieber and many more.

Anyway, the video is kinda cute. It tells a story of a guy who fell in love with a girl and her father can't accept them. Kinda like Romeo and Juliet, but with a pinch of street-cum-boho chic.

Tweens gonna have a field-day with this lyrics too: "Can I have your daughter for the rest of my life? / Say yes, say yes, 'cause I need to know."

Thanks to the cool-off lyrics and silly pop tune, 'Rude' is a definitely a certified hit. It's a no-brainer, really!

Watch the video below and give us some comments, ya.
