Single Review | Robbie Williams - Go Gentle

Robbie Williams
Go Gentle - Single
Island Records / Universal Music Group
Release date: November 10, 2013

Robbie Williams back with his biggest album to date, Swings Both Ways, a sequel to his big band effort, Swing When You're Winning (which still remains one of his most successful albums to date).

'Go Gentle' is Williams' debut single for the album, which is about a talk with his daughter, Teddy. The simple lyrics and melody, together with that classic whistle line, 'Go Gentle' is indeed one of Williams' best single I've ever heard.

To be honest, I'm swooned with Williams' latest look. He's looking more dapper and much matured than his 'Rock DJ' days.

So yeah, I am excited about Swings Both Ways! I'll listen to it and get back to you with a review on it!

Ratings: 5 out of 5 stars.

  1. I love Go Gentle. For me, it's in line with songs like Angels or Misunderstood.

  2. Exactly!

This is indeed one of his bests so far.

Plus, love his new look, too!
