I've taken a new liking at this Australian rapper that goes by the name Iggy Azalea (no, don't you ever mistaken her for Azealia Banks). 'Fancy' is a pop-rap song that infused minimal beats, verse-to-verse rapping and bubblegum pop chorus, which sounds a bit similar to Gwen Stefani's 'Hollaback Girl'.
Interpreted as an ode to the glamorous life, 'Fancy' is filled with confidence, sass, and sick beats (which I enjoyed from the very first listen). I have been looking for such song for a very long time since Fergie's 'Glamorous' and this might be it.
As for the music video? It is AMAZING! Iggy pretty much incorporated the whole 1995's cult classic, Clueless, in this four-minute long video. I have to say, other than the slightly modernized outfits, the music video is beautifully done without the need to make shameless statement of the original film. LOVE IT!
