Nick Jonas has announced a new album, Last Year Was Complicated (out June 10!), and finally released the first single and music video, 'Close'.

And am gonna be honest here: It is sexy as fuck!

The single, which saw Jonas teaming-up together with Swedish pop sensation Tove Lo, is about how hard it is to be committed in a relationship ("Space is just a word made up by someone who's afraid to get too..."). 'Close' is a slow R&B sex song with a lot of bass and minimal audio. A lot like 'Chains' but it's not about desperation per se.

The emvee, which was also released yesterday, is the literal version of the song. The visual finds the two singers on chairs, zooming back and forth from each other, trying hard to get - wait for it - close. Thanks to the zooming-heavy action, their clothes frayed and the couple eventually stripped down to their nude underwear, and in the final minute, they're on the floor, rolling around, trying real hard to, hmm, kiss.

I'm stoked for this album. Hoping for more minimal R&B and sex jam, and less pop. Until then, watch the sultry video below.

Rating: 4.5 out of 5 stars.
