 It is not easy to make a successful transition from tween pop idol to an adult pop star. Selena Gomez, who left Disney’s Hollywood Records some time ago, has released ‘Good For You’, and this might be her ticket to a completely new territory. 

This single, a sensual and sultry mid-tempo jam, showcases a much sexier vibe from SelGo. She’s no longer that gal who sang “I, I, I, I love you like a song”, but an adult who croons “… And syncopate my skin to your heart beating ‘cos I just wanna look good for you.”

 That’s sexy!

 This electro-meet-R&B tune is very refreshing for Selena. Her vocal is a bit different here but the fact that she’s being mature and sexy without going to that overtly awkward sexual phase is probably the biggest surprise for us at TRB.

 Rating: 5 out of 5 stars.
