Music Video Review | Karmin - Along the Road

Karmin
Along the Road - Single

Release date: March 24, 2015 (Single / Music Video)

Platinum-selling pop duo and all around bad-ass YouTube star, Karmin, returns to the spotlight with the release of their slightly slower new single, 'Along the Road'.

The single, released the same date as the new video, is about the surreal feeling of reincarnation and making new transitions. I have a feeling this is all about their departure from Epic late last year and making a new life with a new management.

Although I've never fancy 'em for slower song, but 'Along the Road' is pretty cool for my ears. Plus, I can actually relate to it as it serves as an anthem for us young adult who keeps on feeling nostalgic about our days in the uni.

The video on the other hand is pretty simple. It only captures the image of Amy Heidemann and Nick Noonan performing the song on a stage and there's a kaleidoscopic image of shoes in multiple variant colours.

Despite the video being utterly boring, it kinda fits the song tho.

Anyway, checkout the song below and drop us a comment before y'all move to the next post.

Rating: 3 out of 5 stars.
