Music Video Review | Iggy Azalea - Trouble (feat. Jennifer Hudson)

Iggy Azalea
Trouble (feat. Jennifer Hudson) - Single
Def Jam / Virgin
Release date: February 24, 2015 (Single) / February 27, 2015 (Music Video)

After calling out her man as a 'Problem', Iggy has now found herself in 'Trouble'.

Iggy Azalea once again proves that she's here to stay not only with her girl power pow wow but also with her versatility in music. Teaming up with soul sister Jennifer Hudson, Iggy Iggs delivers another hit that is unlike any of her previous songs. Slightly reminiscent of Mika and Ariana Grande's 'Popular', the piano driven track provides the perfect platform for Iggy's laidback raps and Jennifer's soul strings.

The gem of the whole 'Trouble' package is none other than the completely adorable video. Featuring Iggy and her boo in a Bonnie and Clyde situation, the femcee ends up being a fugitive of the law when she breaks out her bad boy boyfriend from the jail after he gets hauled up for robbing a bank by policewoman extraordinaire Jennifer Hudson. Complete with a 70s style cinematography, boot cut pants and Farah Fawcett hair, the quirky, feel-good video is completely different from the 'Black Widow' singer's previous emvees. Plus point, her man in the video has the same cutest face throughout.

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars.
