Music Video Review | Taylor Swift - Blank Space

Taylor Swift
Blank Space - Single
Big Machine
Release date: November 10, 2014 (Single) / November 8, 2014 (Music Video)

Other than having Sean O'Pry as her new eye candy, the music video for 'Blank Space' is nothing much to gasp over.

I was so excited when Taylor Swift announced that she'll be having 'Blank Space' as her new single. The lyrics are brilliant, the music is awesome and we kinda envisioned something where Swift is in a class, tapping her pencil onto her notebook (like Britney did in '...Baby One More Time') and then starts making outrageous flirtation with countless hot guys in her class while wearing colourful clothes like those we saw in late 80's films and TVs. I'm envisioning 1989 okay!

But nah, it's nothing liddat.

In this version, Swift is living alone in a huge mansion with her beau (O'Pry) and they're having fun and suddenly she saw him being busy with his phone and she starts being extra crazy by ruining and burning his clothes, ripping his paintings and smacking his expensive car.

Taylor, didn't you know your boyfriend is busy making appointment with major fashion brands?

Anyway. This video is a tad bit of a disappointment, but thank you to Taylor's outrageously bad acting and her ultimate shades to her haters, I'm giving it something extra: three stars!

Rating: 3 out of 5 stars.
