Music Video Review | Nick Jonas - Jealous

Nick Jonas
Jealous - Single
Island
Release date: September 7, 2014 (Single) / September 16, 2014 (Music Video)

Nick Jonas' uninspired song gets an uninspiring music video – which is surprising since the director is an apparently established artist.

First of all, Nick Jonas from here onwards will be referred to Douchy McDouche for the following reasons:
1) That buzzcut and scruff
2) Using girlfriend Olivia Culpo as nothing but a prop to be objectified

Directed by Peter Tunney who is well-known for his intentionally-misspelled art like 'Grattitude', the video serves an extended advertisement for all the artistic capabilities of Mr.Tunney. However, glimpses of what the video tries to convey can sometimes be seen – it's just Douchy McDouche having his Miley moment: leaving behind childhood, being indebted, whining and oddly 'courage' while making it big in the City of Dreams – as collected from all the Tunney billboards.

Something from the video I really wish I could unsee: scenes of Douchy McDouche attached to his gigantic arms running towards the camera. *shivers*

Rating: 0 out of 5 stars.
