Guess who's back to show off some vocal skills? It's the one and only Rebecca Black of course!
I have to say I'm quite surprised with the latest turn of events in Rebecca-dom. Looking more like Kylie Jenner than before – with plumper lips and better hair – the iconic starlet who made us love (or hate?) Fridays much more appears in a simple warehouse-based video amidst colourful smokey explosions that shine light on the true star of 'The Great Divide': Ms. Black's voice.
Reminding me of the rise of Youtube star Troye Sivan, the latest single by Katy Perry's on-screen BFF is a power ballad which speaks of letting go a relationship that has gone sour.
Even though this serious side of Rebecca Black is welcomed with open arms, I wish she doesn't lose that spunk that shot her to stardom in the first place. After all, she owes 'Friday' at least that much.
