Swedish wunderkind Zara Larsson is back with a newer version of the video for her infectious hit single and to quote MTV, “Zara Larsson’s 'Lush Life' is the summery single that just won’t die, and you know what? That’s great news for all of us.”

A celebrated radio staple, it may be hard to believe that the Swedish songstresses' ode to summer crushes was first released in the June of 2015. Since its original debut, the track has taken many forms, allowing it to still go strong even after a full year.

When the original video dropped, the pop sensation was only 18-years old, lending an adolescent earnestness to her summer infatuations. The video played up to it as well, showing the singer in various saturated hues overlaid on top each other, among other fun techniques utilised in it.

The original was followed by the addition of a rap verse by Tinie Tempah come February of 2016, at the time of the year when listeners preferred the hardness of a rapper along with a sugary sweet track. However, no video was recorded for this version.

Another collaboration quickly ensued with skincare brand Clinique to promote their latest lipstick line called Play With Pop, an interactive music video experience in which appear four different renditions of the summer anthem.

The latest version of the song features a more confident Zara, all prepped up in the bright colours of summer and the glossiness of it all as she croons about her crush with her gal pals, all while busting out some new cool dance moves. This new video has been recorded to mark the track's release as the second single off her yet-to-be-named album due to drop late this year and also to ride the summer wave at the same time.

Honestly, my favourite has to be the original video and its sincerity. Prefer one of the later versions? Let us know in the comments section below!
