Newly crowned winner of the X-Factor, Ben Haenow, has officially released his first single and news flash: this week, it has been noted as this year's Christmas number one (in the United Kingdom, that is), beating Mark Ronson & Bruno Mars' new funky hit, 'Uptown Funk'.
This track, a cover of OneRepublic's third single off Native, is made to be a thumping stadium-size tune and its anthemic style really suits Haenow's rocky vocal.
'Something I Need' is pretty much a definite track for a winner and I do think Ryan Tedder is the ultimate songwriter right now 'cos his products are always the best - aside Gwen Stefani's new but lame track.
Anyway. You can listen to the track below and if you purchase it, a portion of it will be given to charity.
