Music Video Review | Ella Henderson - Glow

Ella Handerson
Glow - Single
Syco
Release date: October 5, 2014 (Single) / August 12, 2014 (Music Video)

Ella Henderson won't let her star fades away quickly after the success of 'Ghost' 'cos she's decided to release another hauntingly uplifting song, 'Glow'.

This track, penned by Camille Purcell and Steve Mac, may not be as anthemic as Ryan Tedder's 'Ghost', but still, it is freakishly haunting thanks to Henderson's beautiful wisp-esque vocal. Can't help but to imagine her singing this on a dark moody stage with white fog surrounding her. It's a beautiful imagery, of course.

The video is kinda edgy, with Henderson sporting darker make-up, styling, and she looks a bit like Adele. Nonetheless, she's friggin' gorgeous! It sees her singing the track on the edge of a forest (like a protector), with a number of hipster-like youths run towards a city in the far distance.

I'm not that crazy about this, but heck, the song is so good I'm ignoring all the flaws of the accompanying music video. Watch below!

Rating: 3 out of 5 stars.
