Ah, the sweet roaring 20s of jazz is making a comeback with this sweet little number by Tony Bennett and Lady Gaga.
'Anything Goes' is the first single off their duet album, Cheek to Cheek, which is set to be released on September 23, 2014. According to several news sites, recording of the album already took two years!
Anyway, I am completely smitten by this number. Playing at only two minutes long, 'Anything Goes' is short and kinda perfect without the need to have that extra boom and high-voltage vocal in the final verse. In another word, it's sweet!
All in all, it is a really nice and calm music, fit for entertaining guests at your next classy dinner soire.
Cheek to Cheek will be Gaga's first release since last year's ARTPOP. Bennett also released a collaborative album with several Latin singers in 2012 record called Viva Duets.
