Music Video Review | Colbie Caillat - Try

Colbie Caillat
Try - Single
Universal Republic
Release date: June 9, 2014 (Single) / July 11, 2014 (Music Video)

Over the last few days, I've been getting so many hits on Colbie Caillat's new music video, 'Try'.

So, I've decided to watch it...

I love it! Caillat and co. looks beautiful without trying too hard with the theme and cinematography. It is simple and pretty much showcases the whole point about this story: #nofilter!

"Take your makeup off / Let your hair down / Take a breath / Look into the mirror at yourself / Don't you like you? / 'Cause I like you," Caillat sings.

'Try' is a song described by Caillat as a "venting experience" after she was told what she could and could not do with her music.

The single off the artist's new EP, Gypsy Heart (Side A), sends a powerful message about feeling comfortable and beautiful in your own skin.

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars.
