Shakira is churning out her rock side with this awesome new track called 'Empire' for her tenth album, Shakira. Seriously, I am loving the explosive chorus and how it feels like there's her pre-mainstream tone to it (FYI: she was a very edgy rocker back then). I can't help but to agree with Idolator, this is probably her most rawdiest rock adventure by far.
'Can't Remember to Forget You' is now forgotten already (pun intended)!
The video for 'Empire' is also beautiful. The surreal-like motion when she glides through the green mountain, enters the chapel in a beautiful wedding gown, then run away for her freedom with fire blazing from her back (honestly, though: that is oh-so-fake graphic, I tell ya).
