Eurovision Song Contest is one of the premiere worldly music competitions I kinda watch every single year. I was introduced to it back in 2011 and I'm hooked ever since. Despite the cheesy format and oh-so-long live marking session in the show (45 minutes, at least, plus the additional 2 hours worth of performances - non stop!), the show is still fantastic in its own way. 2012 edition is my favorite edition of the show and honestly, I am still listening to the soundtrack album today.

This collection was released a month prior to the live shows (two semi-finals and the actual finale showdown) and there are 42 countries competing (and watching all of 'em are exhausting enough!). Nonetheless, this album is a great collection if you love most of the songs performed in that competition. I have a lot of favorites during this edition, among 'em are Suus, Trackshittaz (offensive track, but still, it's a cool song), Sabina Babayeva, Loreen (the winner, in the picture above), Ott Lepland (great vocal!), Mandinga, Nina Zilli (Italian version of Amy Winehouse), Zeljko Joksimovic, Donny Montell and a few more.

So, yea, if you're a fan of European's various musical styles, then this collection is definitely for you!

Rating: 4 out of 5 stars.
