Music Video Review | Meghan Trainor - Me Too

Meghan Trainor
Me Too - Single
Epic
Release date: May 5, 2016 (Single) / May 10, 2016 (Music Video)

Meghan Trainor is back with another zesty new single and music video, 'Me Too'.

After ignoring so many unwanted suitors in 'NO', the Grammy-winning singer is now all about gaining that whole lotta confidence by singing "If I was you, I'd wanna be me too"

'Me Too' is an upbeat track and heavily loaded with synth over its minimalist tune. This is Trainor's first song without her signature doo-wop/60's sound and although it may seems refreshing, I'm not really a fan of it.

But the music video on the other hand is super duper silly and fun. There's Trainor in that cute giraffe onesie, relatable dressing room dancing session, and towards the end, she's looking glammed-up in glittery blue dress for the video's main scene.

FYI: The video actually released few days ago but pulled down after the singer went on a rant about being photoshopped to the max by the director. Given the song's positive message, it's pretty ironic, no?

Anyway, watch the revised version below!
