Music Video Review | Madonna - Living For Love

Madonna
Living for Love - Single
Interscope / Live Nation / Boy Toy
Release date: December 20, 2014 (Single) / February 6, 2015 (Music Video)

The Queen of Pop is back to slay you. This time with her cape.

After the leak of her latest album, Madonna rush-released six tracks off of it as an early Christmas present for her fans last year. Now, the first single from her thirteenth studio album, Rebel Heart gets a music video that most other contemporary artists can only dream of pulling off.

In the video, Madonna plays a matador who defeats the dancers dressed as bedazzled bulls that charge at her before finally ending the video with a choreography as infectious as the song. Directed by French duo J.A.C.K., The iconic entertainer appears flawless in various corset-inspired outfits in the red-hued video that pays homage to her previous 'Take A Bow' MV released in 1994. The song itself is a gem, with Alicia Keys on the piano and MNEK providing backing vocals, but the video elevates it to another level.

Rating: 3 out of 5 stars.
