EP Review | Plain White T's - Should've Gone to Bed

Plain White T's
Should've Gone To Bed (EP)

Release date: April 9, 2013

Plain White T's has returned to the music scene with their latest extended play, Should've Gone to Bed. After their last record, Wonders of the Young, died in the chart, I expected a big return from the boys. Love it? Hate it? Well, this record is pretty OK and with only four tracks, this EP is enough to give us the head start of what the T's are currently up to.

Should've Gone to Bed is very pop-rock for my taste and reminds me a lot of Simple Plan (sans any of those teenage angst). With three uptempo tracks and one mellow tune, there's surely no 'Hey There, Delilah' or '1, 2, 3, 4' in here but the songs are very kicking and should do fine in case you wanna blast them off in your car speakers.

Rating: 3.5 out of 5 stars.
