The Beyhive can finally breathe again now that the Queen Bey has at last graced us with her voice!
In a never-before-imagined collaboration with English-bred Pakistani record producer Naughty Boy, the empress of music takes us through a harrowing journey guided by haunting vocals and heartbreaking lyrics. Another singer Arrow Benjamin joins in on the track as well, even though we find it quite unnecessary.
The video is arguably one of the most simplistically creative ones ever made. Shot using the ocean as the central theme, the emvee depicts a pair of lover reuniting after searching for each other past various obstacles – all while being submerged in sea. Honestly, the actors in the video are so talented and must have been through a tough filming process for the director to capture it all as perfect as he did. Definitely one for the books.
Oh by the way, it is actually a Naughty Boy song but we're pretty sure he won't disagree with us calling it a Queen Bey masterpiece.
