I've never actually been a fan of Foxes but what can I say I'm truly a sucker for sappy videos.

In this new track released especially for retail giant H&M, Foxes plays the caring, older sister of an energetic boy who's passionate about dancing. Keeping the family together by working as a florist, the British singer encourages her little brother's talent for footwork by practising with him in the projects, where we can safely assume where the live, due to the emotionally-disengaged mother that they share.

In between scenes of the mother being dysfunctional and his practice sessions, we see the male Maddie Ziegler peering through a door, peeking into a class full of ballerinas but keeping his eye on one particular girl. One day, after feeling confident enough, he approaches the girl after her class and dances his heart out – thankfully to her approval.

Craftfully done, the beautiful emvee fits the uplifting anthem perfectly, without relying on any cliched tropes. To me it feels nothing but a short film with an unending soundtrack and without audible dialogues. The storyline is not only easy to understand, it's clearly relatable and we all know it could just as easily be a true story. The look on his face at the end when he's done performing – priceless. And it makes us forget that after all that, the budding dancer still has to go back to his broken home.

p/s: I wanna feed seagulls too. Tired of them pigeons we get around here.

Rating: 4 out of 5 stars.
