Ella, this year's breakout star and alumni of UK's X-Factor, has officially released the video of her undying love note to her lover, 'Yours'.
Short synopsis: this black-and-white video features Ella in her house singing a song on her grand piano while her lover is sleeping on the other room.
Sound simple, right? Well, that's actually the reason why I love this video so much.
First of all, the black and white setting works so well for this song's fade-out style. From the moment it starts with Ella on the piano, to the scene where she's glancing at the windows to the lonely city (presumable New York's Meatpacking District) - this montage syncs pretty well with the mood of the song.
Secondly, 18-year-old Henderson is exceptionally gorgeous in this four-minute montage of her love letter. She looks like she's in an advert for, hmm, let say, Armani's. Have I ever tell you how much I love her flowy hair? She's such a bohemian chick.
Thirdly: the song! 'Yours' is one of my favourite tunes in her debut LP, thus, making this video an A+ for me.
