Single Review | Hilary Duff - Sparks

Hilary Duff
Sparks - Single
RCA
Release date: April 7, 2015

Not sure if Hilary Duff is ditching her folk-ish sound or what (‘cos we’re loving that persona), but her new single is wayyy different than two of her previous efforts.

The throbbing synth-pop tune titled ‘Sparks’ signifies Duff’s return to the dance-pop orientation we’re so used of her back in mid-2000’s. The song, co-written by Swedish sensation, Tove Lo, accompanied by catchy whistle breakdown and sexy vocal presentation by the former Disney’s superstar.

Will this be Duff’s successful attempt to break into Billboard Top 40? This might not be ‘All Abous Us’ but hell yeah it’s a good one.

Rating: 3.5 out of 5 stars.
