Single Review | Karmin - Sugar

Karmin
Sugar - Single
P.I.C. Records
Release date: October 8, 2014

Instead of going on a year-long trip, Karmin continues with their musical journey by releasing a new single, 'Sugar', after parted ways with their former label, Epic.

Amy Heidemann and Nick Noonan, our favourite lovey-dovey couple who creates Karmin, have been making themselves busy by recording new materials, and 'Sugar' is an appropriate first taste we're looking forward to since last spring's Pulses.

This new single is filled with breezy synths and the lyrics are just written with rap vocabs that we're sure gonna be a troublesome at any karaoke session: “How can I live when the way I feel about you is intentional, dimensional, flirtation is inevitable, chemical, edible, side effects regrettable,” Amy raps in 'Sugar'.

TBH, it's awesome. Listen to the track below...

Rating: 4 out of 5 stars.
