Music Video Review | Lorde - Team

Lorde
Team - Single
Universal
Release date: September 13, 2013 (Single) / December 3, 2013 (Music Video)

New Zealander chanteuse, Lorde, 17, released her third single off her debut record, Pure Heroine. The single, 'Team', is one of the highlights of the album and it is also one of my favorite tracks apart from 'Royals'. The way the beat starts after 30 seconds in is just killing my ear drums.

In this music video, Lorde is featured as the leader or "queen bee" of the crumbling society of young adults. Amidst all the ruins and all, she is standing tall to rule her kin and city.

I'm not particularly love the video as it took me quite a while to figure out the whole story behind it. But to tell you the truth, I never loved any of her videos (I love her singles, that's all). And this one proves why I'll never watch her videos again.

Rating: 2 out of 5 stars.
