British's no.2 boy band, The Wanted (sorry lads, One Direction comes first here), returned with their first album since post American domination (officially, their third offerings), Word of Mouth.
The album comes with great tracks that kinda infectious, all thanks to their repetitious-cum-redundant lyrics and awesome beats. I'm not a big fan of the album, but some tracks here are kinda memorable. Songs like 'We Own the Night', 'I Found You', 'Summer Alive' and 'Glow In the Dark' are very danceable. I noted 'Summer Alive' is very similar to their previous hits, 'Glad You Came'.
Meanwhile, my favorite track in the album is 'In The Middle' just because it is very similar to their previous works. Same goes to 'Could This Be Love' as it got this whole sonic that reminded me of their self-titled debut.
There's no theme going around Word of Mouth and I am sorry, but the cover is kinda awful (literally words in some girl's mouth - LOL!). Despite that, this is still a good record and The Wanted deserves some applause just because they're not sounding too mainstream unlike all those bands that achieved success in America.
Rating: 3.5 out of 5 stars.
