Music Video Review | Troye Sivan - YOUTH

Troye Sivan
YOUTH - Single
EMI
Release date: November 13, 2015 (Single) / February 24, 2016 (Music Video)

By Vimal Esvaren

Yay Troye Sivan is back with Youth, a mid-tempo track celebrating adolescence after his depressingly poignant Blue Neighbourhood trilogy.
First things first, how do I get that kind of radical lighting in my house? It makes me high without even smoking anything! But I'm pretty sure everybody in the party are on something. And it's not alcohol (since they're not shown drinking any).

In a house party thrown just for the social outcasts, Troye sings about being carefree and how beautiful young love is, before picking up a guy there. Basically a tamer version of a Miley Cyrus video. The song though is quite lyrical and catchy, especially at the drop.

Rating: 3 out of 5 stars.
