Probably the only gal who inspired by the 80's punk/pop scene, Charli XCX stays true to that root and has since released stuffs that just scream 80's glam!
'Breaking Up', another single off her upcoming LP, SUCKER, brings everything that reminds us of the heydays of pop and this is just a reminder that she is not one to be messed with (1989? LOL).
Thanks to her scratchy and strong vocal, filled with personality as she chomps down on her ex-bashing lyrics. "You said forever / But baby I'm not so sure," she slurs with flair, then adding "Everything was wrong with you / So breaking up was easy to do."
Anyway; the video is an added bonus to the sassy song! The clip features Charli and her camarilla having fun at the bowling alley sans their parasite scrubs.
