Enough already Nicole; everyone knows you have a bikini-ready body.
Miss Scherzinger is currently on a mission to resuscitate her rapidly waning solo career – which never really took off in the first place – with the release of her latest single 'Your Love' from her second official studio album set to be released sometime this year. This new LP comes in the wake of an initial studio effort Her Name Is Nicole which unfortunately never got to see the light of day and her moderately-successful debut full-length solo effort post-destruction of the Pussycat Dolls in her hands called Killer Love.
The radio-friendly new single is authentically Nicole – she purrs and coos and shouts to catchy house music. The song also features the worst ever bridge squished into a song – ever. Our main qualm with 'Your Love', however, is the boring music video. In it, the ex-Doll and ex-judge for X Factor UK shows up half-naked (once again) on a beach with wet hair and handful of dancers. All they do is dance the sunset away while the 'creator' of One Direction sings and flirts at the camera. The video only picks up towards the end when some light effects and more colour is added to the admittedly summer-y visual.
Even though it is undeniable that Nicole has a 'hot' body, there is somewhat a disconnect every time the 'Baby Love' songstress stands undressed (albeit not completely) in front of the camera. The "hotness" that she once possessed collectively with the rest of the Dolls is no longer there – leaving us to only see a skinny tall girl gratuitously having a good time with herself on screen. On the other hand, looking at her dance is always welcomed for that's what she does best.
Nicole honey, you really need to amp up your video game. Coz J.Lo you are not.
