 From Nickelodeon tween queen to budding music star, 20 year old Grande's debut album is a commendable effort. Its nostalgic 90's R&B sound and her Mariah-like vocals defy auto-tune and excessive EDM gunk. I have to say this, Yours Truly is my guilty pleasure of a pop album and a sing-along that i’ve kept on repeat during bumper-to-bumper traffic.

'This Way', 'Almost is Never Enough', 'Right There', 'Tattooed Heart' and 'Baby I' are some of the songs I love from this record. Low note? I got two: 'Piano' and 'Popular Song' - these two should not be in this album.

 Rating: 3.5 out of 5 stars.
